Work Experience

23/2/2000 - 13/6/2000	Thomson Marconi Sonar Pty Ltd, AMI project group, Sydney, Australia This is a contract work which have lasted three months. I was responsible for developing a graphics tool to process and control AMI 3D images using Visual C++ 6.0 and OpenGL. Please refer to REFERENCE LETTER.
9/1994 - 8/1998	Artificial Intelligence Research Laboratory, Computer Institute, Beijing Polytechnic University, Beijing, China Please refer to Reference from Professor Song. I was engaged in the research and software development of Natural Language Processing. The main language tool is Microsoft Visual C/C++ (especially using MFC). Projects and Responsibilities

• January 1996 - December 1997:

Research of Theory and Technology of Computer-Aided Chinese Proofreading System (Beijing City Class), supported by Beijing Youth Science and Technology Mainstay Funds. I was the leader of this project and responsible for writing some main codes and designing global data structures.
• January 1996 - August 1997:

Chinese Proofreading System on Microsoft Chinese Word 97, supported by Microsoft Corporation. This system is considered as part of Microsoft Word 97. As a cooperator of Microsoft Corporation, I was responsible for providing all core technical support used in this project. So important technologies related to the issue of Chinese understanding on Microsoft Word are based on our segmentation algorithm.
• November 1995 - June 1998:

Highly Practical Computer-Aided Chinese Proofreading System (Work on Intelligence Check -- WIC), supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China. I was a main participator and responsible for writing and researching key algorithms such as the algorithms of Word Segmentation and Proofreading, and debugging the global codes.
• July 1996 - June 1998:

Aloudly Reading of Chinese HTML Texts With the Same Sound Based on TTS Technology(State Class), with a cooperator Tsinghua University, supported by the National '863' High-Tech Program of China. I was a main participator and responsible for writing key codes and interface programs, and technical cooperation with Tsinghua University.
• October 1995 - December 1997:

Research of the Method and Technology of Computer-Aided Chinese Proofreading System, supported by the Beijing Natural Science Foundation. I was a key participator and responsible for designing the global data structures and writing the core codes and algorithms.
• November 1994 - March 1996:

Software Development Tool Based on Natural Language Processing, supported by National 863 High -- Tech Program of China. I was responsible for designing the global data structures, writing the core codes and algorithms, and developing assistant tools.
